THE Band
The Woodstock Festival was held in 1969. It is widely viewed as the most famous rock festival ever held. Although the show had been planned for a maximum of 200,000 attendees, over 500,000 eventually attended. The performers were arguably the best of their time including The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Sly and the Family Stone, the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Joan Baez, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Santana, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Joe Cocker.
Lola Sweet will be offering a lot more from that era by Traffic, Carole King, Steely Dan, James Taylor, Neil Young, Al Green, The Beatles . . . and more. Great for listening. Great for dancing!
