about tonight’s comics

Emily Ruskowski (Headliner)
Emily has been featured in the Washington Post and Boston Globe and has appeared on the popular 2 Dope Queens Podcast and Laughs TV on Fox. She is a one-woman charm offensive. With a style that's totally approachable and instantly impressive, Emily has an irrepressibly cheerful demeanor and commands attention and delivers stories loaded with punchline after punchline. Emily’s comedy combines a quick mind, an infectious energy, and a totally unique eye for observation.

Bill Douglas
Bill is a long-time middle school science teacher where he has mined much of his material. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Festival in Scotland, the largest comedy festival in the world and has performed throughout Finland and the Baltic States. Closer to home Bill has performed at the Portland Maine Comedy Festival, the Vermont Comedy Festival, the New South Comedy Festival in Greenville, SC, and the Good Vibes Comedy Festival in Memphis. In his quest to perform in all 50 states he is currently at 39.

Amy Tee
“Not every crazy looks crazy,” says Amy, the comedian and motivational speaker who brings her boyish charm and dry wit to the stage with a storytelling style that shifts between stereotypes and reality. She delivers comedy with stigma-busting honesty. “I feel alive,” she says of the work. “I’m candid and exposed yet still fully clothed.” Identified by the Boston Globe as a comedian to watch, and in Curve magazine as one of the “funniest lesbians in America,” Amy toured nationally and was a featured comedian in the film, “Laughing Matters — The Next Generation.”
